It’s been three long years since the Pittsburg Seafood and Music Festival was cancelled due to the pandemic, but now it’s back with award-winning country artist Clayton Q as the headliner. Clayton Q and Nashville legendary guitarist Randy Russell, the lead in Q’s band, performed for the City Council on Monday night, marking their first Northern California appearance.

The Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce, which hosts the festival, is thrilled to have Clayton Q headline this year’s event. Wolfgang Croskey, the CEO of the Chamber of Commerce, said that during the three-year break, organizers reassessed their strategies and reimagined the festival experience in a world transformed by COVID-19.

This year’s festival will be held at Old Town Pittsburg, with the main entertainment at Buckley Square. The festival usually attracts 30,000 or more people and will feature a diverse group of performers, including mariachi bands, Chinese lion dancers, American musical groups, Japanese taiko drummers, and musical groups from Central and South America. There will also be a variety of seafood-based foods, as well as other restaurants in the area for those who don’t enjoy seafood.

Children 12 and under will be admitted to the festival free of charge, and there will be early bird and VIP ticket sales, as well as two-day packages. General admission tickets will go on sale June 15. For more information, go to or call 925-432-7301.

The Pittsburg Seafood and Music Festival is a great way to celebrate the city’s diversity and its sister-city relationships. It’s also a great opportunity for local businesses to benefit from the festival. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to hear Clayton Q’s soulful country music and to experience the diversity of the festival.
