India's Potential is Enormous: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Meeting with Global Leaders

     Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently met with several global leaders to discuss opportunities and reforms that India has initiated. These included Tesla CEO Elon Musk, billionaire investor Ray Dalio, astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, Nobel laureate Professor Paul Romer, and author Nassim Nicholas Taleb.

     During his meeting with Elon Musk, Prime Minister Modi discussed Twitter and how India must obey local laws. Musk noted that "we cannot apply America to Earth" and the two discussed the reforms that the government has initiated. Following his meeting, Ray Dalio said that India's potential is enormous and that "you now have a reformer who has the ability to transform India".

     When Prime Minister Modi met with Neil deGrasse Tyson, the two discussed space and how to draw more youngsters towards science and innovation. Tyson said that "sky is not the limit" for Prime Minister Modi and that he was delighted to spend time with a leader who is scientifically thoughtful.

     Prime Minister Modi also met with Nobel laureate Professor Paul Romer to discuss how technology can be leveraged to improve lives and how to make cities more sustainable and people friendly.

     With Robert Thurman, Prime Minister Modi discussed research and scholarship on Buddhism. They discussed India's Buddhist heritage and how it can help overcome challenges that the world currently faces.

     Finally, Prime Minister Modi met with Nassim Nicholas Taleb and discussed India's development strides and how the country is nurturing a spirit of enterprise and risk-taking among the youth.
