How to Fight for Equality and End the Cycle of Bloodshed in Israel: A Call to Action
Key Highlights :

The cycle of violence and bloodshed in Israel has been ongoing for far too long. Benjamin Netanyahu's statement that “when we talk about housing prices, about the cost of living, I don’t for a second forget about life itself” is a metaphor that has become painfully real for the Israeli Arab population. Murders and violence are rampant, and the government's response has been to make a deal with the Arab population: support the government's judicial overhaul and the government will finally crack down on crime. This "offer" is seen by many as a cynical attempt to manipulate the Arab population into supporting the government's agenda, trading in their blood for a promise of safety.
The situation in Israel has become so dire that it has been compared to the 1950s, when Moshe Sharett famously asked if this was a country of law or a country of thieves. Now, the choice is between law and bloodshed. The government has become a gang with an agenda, with no red lines, and the Arab population is the first to suffer.
In order to fight the cycle of violence and bloodshed, it is important for the Arab population to take a stand and make their voices heard. A call to action is needed in order to bring about real change and equality. To this end, a Saturday night protest should be organized under the banner of “Brothers for a shared citizenship” in order to show solidarity with the Arab population and to demand equality in all areas of life.
It is time for the Arab public to stand up and fight for their rights. The government must be held accountable for its actions and the cycle of bloodshed must be brought to an end. It is time to take a stand and fight for equality and justice. Only then can the Israeli Arab population have a chance at a life without bloodshed and tears.
